The road less traveled
Its easy to blame God for the things we don’t understand. We look for someone to cast our hatred on someone to make responsible for the things that happen to us. You cant do that. Do not scapegoat the your base of faith cause your whole foundation will crumble under its own weight. If you don’t believe in him you have to believe in something that this burden this pain will subside and everything will be ok. We all want fairy tale ending for the people that we love and have invested so much stock into. About 2 min ago I just found out that someone very close to me has cancer. In that very moment, its been a long time but didn’t hear anything. The last time that happened I was playing magic the gathering with my best friend Mick and my mom came up stairs to let me know that my grandfather died in 10th grade. I have faith that he will have a fairy tale ending and if my faith goes unrewarded. I understand that everyone dies.

Sex? Yes Pleas? Our Society is driven on Sex. If you want to sell something objectify a woman, and slap her picture on a can of body spray. If religion is a lie can we not still hold the common bonds between them, the morals? Do girls have to base their self worth on how many guys they can get at a nightspot or sleep with? What happened to the good old days where sex meant something besides selling products or having a kid for the companionship? What happened to the days where men would open doors and pull out seats and girls were called by their names? Society has distorted values by keeping it “gangsta” Something is going to have to happen where people began being people again.

For those of us who hold to heart the values of the Christian/ Catholic faith’s we believe in Heaven and Hell. Or that’s what they teach us to believe. The bible tells us of Moses parting the Red Sea, Jesus walking on water but why and how does that differ from mythology as a whole. Back then The Greeks worshiped Zeus and many gods but as time passed, many religious conversions sunk itself deep into that civilizations roots and what was left of their many Gods are left in ruins, and put on display by tour guides with 12 dollar tickets. It can also be compared to dead languages. Something that was so fluent something so mainstream to be snuffed from the face of the earth. Is religion a set of books that capitalize on fear and of epic legendary fights between David and Goliath, Hercules and the Hydra, Odin and the well? What is to say that religious fanatics who went on witch-hunts, crusades didn’t force “gods” hand in the countries they visited to only have that carried on to today? What if you died and stood before Zeus or Hades? Funny sounding isn’t it? Many thousand of years this is what people believed. So what part in history brought us to this point?
